Methodology reviewed

Enter your website

Compare your business facts across pages

Hostname only, for example example.com. The homepage and its linked About and Contact pages are checked.

No account needed. The result is not saved.

What is compared

Five facts, read from links, visible text, and JSON-LD

Each value is shown with the page and the exact source it came from, so you can fix the right place.

  1. 1

Business name in og:site_name and in business JSON-LD name and legalName.

  2. 2

Phone numbers in tel: links and JSON-LD telephone, matched across national and international formats.

  3. 3

Email addresses in mailto: links and JSON-LD email.

  4. 4

Postal address in JSON-LD, and whether its street and postal code appear in the visible page text.

  5. 5

Official profile links (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, GitHub and others) compared with JSON-LD sameAs.

What the check confirms, and what it cannot tell you

What it can confirm

  • Which pages and sources state each fact, and where the values differ.
  • Whether facts declared in JSON-LD are also shown to visitors, and the reverse.
  • Which About and Contact pages the homepage links to, and whether they could be retrieved.

What remains unknown

  • Whether a fact is correct. The check compares the website with itself, not with registries, maps listings, or the profiles.
  • Facts written only as plain text or images, such as a phone number without a tel: link.
  • Pages other than the homepage and its linked About and Contact pages.
  • Whether any search engine or AI system has recognized, trusted, ranked, or cited the business.

Common questions

Questions about business facts consistency

Why do consistent business facts matter?

People, search engines, and AI systems read the same facts from several places on a website. When the name, phone number, or address differs between pages or between visible text and structured data, it is harder to tell which one is current. Consistency removes that ambiguity, but it does not guarantee how any system uses the information.

Which pages are checked?

The homepage, plus the About page and Contact page that the homepage links to on the same website. If the homepage does not link to one of them, the result says so instead of guessing a URL.

Several phone numbers are listed. Is that a problem?

Not necessarily. Separate sales and support numbers are normal. The result marks them for review so you can confirm each one is current and that your main number is the same in visible links and JSON-LD.

Is the website or the result stored?

No. The pages are fetched for this check and the result is returned to your browser. Analytics record only that a check started and finished, never the website or the facts found.
